Decolonizing Food is a website all about food from the perspective of people of color. It exists to show the intersections between race, gender, sexuality and food. It highlights important figures in the food industry who are people of color and includes recipes from various different cultures.
The food industry has a made a habit out of pigeonholing chefs of color and consumers of color as all the same and existing as one entity. Decolonizing Food is here to show the different ways that people of color interact with food.
